Cultural
diversity and international work
Our work has crossed borders, spanned continents and bridged cultures.
We have worked with companies from outside North America to introduce
their products and services to North American consumers, helping
to create mainstream awareness and a market niche for specialty
products from India, Mexico and Asia.
We have travelled to Russia, Ukraine and Indonesia to help develop
the infrastructure required for fostering an entrepreneurial culture,
and have set up programs in North America to build capacity amongst
new entrepreneurs from other countries.

In Japan, we led an official delegation to raise awareness of the
cultural ties between the Aboriginal peoples of Japan and the Pacific
Northwest Coast.
We have written articles on cultural diversity, and launched an
online resource tool designed give business owners and human resource
managers the tools they need to create a strong, vibrant and diverse
workforce. One such project involved telling the stories of the
Nootka Sound communities of Tahsis, Zeballos, Gold River and Kyuquot
through print and video medium. Find out more here.
Through strategic communications and public relations, Whalebone
can help you transcend geographical and cultural boundaries to reach
new audiences, both locally and around the world.
