Writer's Award
The British Columbia Historical Federation was established in 1922 to stimulate public interest and encourage research in British Columbia history. Since 1982 it has sponsored an annual writing award for the best books on any facet of British Columbia history. Winners receive a Certificate of Merit. In 1991, Laurie Jones received a Writer's Award from the B.C. Historical Federation for her book, "Nootka Sound Explored." Click here for more information.
